Week 8: STREAK HITS 60 WEEKS WITHOUT COMMISSION FEES!

February 20- February 26

Wow - first week in a long time without a single purchase.  My automatic buys usually work like clockwork, but I saw the price drop in Target and VFC in the previous week.  I was able to allocate more money there by skipping a biweekly investment in FUSEX this week.  Weird posting about not purchasing, but this extend my streak to 60 weeks!  Next week, I will compare my buys with week 7 for consistency.

Total Invested - $0
Commissions Paid - $0.00
Current Streak - 60 weeks*
Yearly Dividends Added - $0
Yield - 0%

*Paid Commissions fees on selling motifs but not on a purchase in over a year!

Full Disclosure: TGT, VFC, FUSEX, ALL HOLDINGS IN MY PORTFOLIO

  2. Like the comment above, it's impressive being so consistent for all these weeks without paying any fees. Sometimes a week will go by without a purchase. That's OK as long as you are consistent overall and not trying to time the market for the 'best' time to make a buy.

    1. Thanks Keith! I can see after a year how much progress I am making. Some positions I would like to get out of still but wasn't ready to take the loss. . I realized timing the market is not a good strategy for me and makes me second guess buys. In the long run being consistent and time in the market will persevere.
