Vanguard & Loyal 3 - Week 26: Recent Buys

June 27 - July 3

My investments for week 26 included VYM, AAPL, MSFT, NKE, and DIS.  All of them pay a dividend.  The yield this week was 2.16% compared to 3.19% the week prior.  The yield is lower as I invested into the high yielding SDIV the prior week.  The amount of yearly dividends added ($6.10) was lower than last week ($22.52) as I invested less this week and the SDIV investment was last week.  This also marks 26 consecutive weeks without paying commissions!

Total Invested - $283.16
Commissions Paid - $0.00
Current Streak - 26 weeks
Yearly Dividends Added - $6.10
Yield- 2.16%

Full Disclosure: Long VYM, AAPL, MSFT, NKE, DIS, ALL HOLDINGS IN MY PORTFOLIO

    1. Thank you IH! I think sometimes I could use a break from checking every day/week, but it sure is fun to watch it grow!

  2. Hey Mogul,

Keep up the streak! That's very impressive. Good to see a Vanguard Fund in there as well. Can't go wrong with that I don't think. I've got most of my portfolio in Vanguard funds now but still hold 10-15 individual stocks. Keep it up!

    1. Passive Income Dude,

Sounds like a great portfolio, I really like Vanguard funds and their low expense ratios, maybe one day I will make my portfolio simpler! Coming to learn simple and boring is good!
