Portfolio Value : May 2016

Sorry for the late post!  Here is my May portfolio growth.  I will be posting my May Dividend Income shortly and probably June a week later.

Please see the chart below for the updated chart with my portfolio value:

My portfolio value grew from $32,568.55 to $34,375.99 from May 1st to June 1st.  Accounting for my May investments equaling $1,817.02, my portfolio value was reduced by $9.58 this month.

Slow and Steady!

Cheers,
The Dividend Mogul

  1. Nice job DM. Slow and steady, just keep pushing. I'm sure your portfolio value will fall in June thanks to Brexit. But it's a good thing, that means there's more buying opportunity out there.

    1. It will definetly be interesting to see what happens and if the market continues to decline hopefully we can both put more money to work! As always thanks for stopping by and sharing !!!! Cannot believe half of the year is over already :/

  2. Hi DM,

I see we started at similar time - but I see that my contributions are much smaller (your initial capital is higher) - keep going and I hope that we will both succeed :)

btw. don't you think that with relatively small portfolio you are too diversified?

    1. I do battle that at times- although I have many positions at this time I am really only adding to these small positions. I am not too worried as most of the money is invested in very strong dividend paying companies. There is definetly room for some changes presented with the right opportunity! Congrats and good luck to you too!

  3. Nice growth chart there! I think your numbers might be backwards? from $32,568.55 to $34,375.99 I would assume. Nice work though, our portfolio value is roughly the same. I bet the chart for July 1 will not look quite as good though :) Hopefully that means more investments though!
