Loyal 3 & Vanguard - Week 11: Recent Buys

March 14- March 20

My auto investments for week 11 are listed below and include BUD, PEP, NFLX, MSFT, and VYMI.  I have previously included the MSFT purchase in week 10, but it should be in week 11.  This week added a much higher yield (1.7%) than week 10, especially after removing MSFT from my last post.  Although, the yield is not as high as where I would want it $4 of additional yearly income added in one week is not so bad. I also made my first purchase into VYMI through Vanguard since it is commission free there.  Slowly but surely trying to get the ball rolling!

Total Invested - $253.27
Commissions Paid - $0.00
Yearly Dividends Added - $4.48
Yield- 1.7%

Full Disclosure: Long BUD, PEP, NFLX, MSFT, VYMI

Are you invested in any of these companies?  Would you ever invest in NFLX although it does not pay a dividend?

  1. Always great to see consistent buying in all market conditions. Like PEP and BUD buys. For now I am focused exclusively on dividend payers. NFLX does not interest me at this time.

Thank you! Just as you mentioned, I am hoping to consistently buy as timing the market has not worked so well for me. I do plan on investing a little extra anytime the market drops significantly. Thanks for stopping by!
